1. Self extracting archive script file.

The file is needed for self extracting archives. For RAR archives the file is typically named "default.sfx" whereas for ZIP archives it is "zip.sfx". 64 bit versions of those tools might use the files "default64.sfx" (for RAR) and "zip64.sfx" (for ZIP).

2. Statgraphics Centurion file.

Statgrahics Centurion is a staticatical analysis package.

A .sfx file contains both data, a model and information about the the design of that model.
