- 1. FlashDevelop project file.
The file is an XML style file (and is therefore viewable using a text editor). It contains the project settings for FlashDevelop - a .NET open source script editor for ActionScript development (i.e. for creating scripts to run for Flash presentations).

This file contains an encoded geographic road network (i.e. a map) for PDA devices.
Typically these .fdp files are stored in a folder called "Mapsonic_Maps" on a memory card.

- 3. FileDisk Protector file.
A file that has been created using MySafe or part of the "Protector Suite" from STMicroElectronics. The file contents are encrypted and can only be accessed by fingerprint authentication or by password.
