1. STS files are status flags for a call logging (help Desks etc) application called datapulse - CIM.

2. MEMMAKER status file.

MEMMAKER was an MS-DOS utility which moved device drivers and other memory resident programs into upper memory in order to better make use of the small memory space available to MS-DOS.

When run, MEMMAKER creates a file called memmaker.sts. This file contains information about the current state of the optimization process, the current memory configuration and the sizes of memory-resident programs. The file itself is a .ini style file, but is not indented for direct editing.

3. Stereo Tool Settings file.

A .sts file contains equalizer preset settings for use by the "Stereo Tool" application. Stereo Tool is a professional low latency audio processor, which allows sounds recordings to be improved. A free version is available, which includes a trial of some of the features only available in the registered version.
