Windows/DOS swap file. Swap file generated  based applications and Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows ME and reportedly some by some DOS based applications. This is used for Virtual Memory management, giving applications the appearance of more memory than is physically available, by swapping out sections of memory to and from disk.

Swap file for Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows ME. By default this is located in the folder C:\Windows.
