Cry How To...
Administer user accounts in another domain
To be able to administer user accounts in a different domain:
-
Set up a trust relationship. There must be a trust relationship between both domains.
-
On the second domain, run user manager and add ‘
<first-domain>\DOMAIN ADMINS
’ to the local ‘Administrators
’ group. - On the ‘first domain’ running user manager it should now be possible to select the ‘second’ domain and administer its accounts.
These notes have been tested with Windows NT4.
