Windows DVD Maker project file.

Windows DVD Maker is a simple DVD authoring package for creating professional looking DVDs. It is available as part of Windows Vista (Home Premium or Ultimate).

The .msdvd project file contains a list of which files are to be included on the DVD together with title information, styles, background images and transition effects. The file itself is an XML style file and can be viewed in notepad to identify the individual component files.

It is important to recognise that the .msdvd file contains the information Windows DVD Maker requires to create a DVD but it does not contain the DVD video. When creating a DVD each of the files referred to from the .msdvd file must be available.
