1. Outlook Profile file. Contains settings used by Microsoft Outlook to generate a new profile or modify an existing profile. These are text editable files, and are in the same style as a .ini file.

2. ClarisWorks Preferences File. This file is used to hold user configuration settings. ClarisWorks uses the file name "clworks.prf" which is stored in the Claris directory.

3. Macromedia Director Preferences file. This file is used to hold user configuration settings. Macromedia Director uses the file name "Director.prf".
