- CDP
- 1. Cisco Discovery Protocol. A proprietary network
protocol developed
and used by Cisco, which is used to share network information between
network devices.

- 2. Continuous Data Protection. A backup system which backs up changes to
data and files as soon as that change has been made. This allows files and
data to be recovered to any point in time. In theory this should provide
virtually no data loss should files or data need to be restored from a
backup.
