- 1. Really Simple Syndication. A format used for syndicating news and
content of news-like sites. RSS publishes information via an
XML format, providing a channel, title, link,
description and a series of items each of which is in turn defined in by a
title, link and description.
Also known as "Web Feeds", occasionally also referred to as "News Feeds".
