TIFF
- TIFF
- Tagged Image File Format. A common image file format developed by Adobe.
TIFF files are usually identified with a ".tif"
or ".tiff" file
extension.
TIFF involves loss-less data-compression (cf compression). It is well suited (i.e. gives good compression) on images which have bands of the same colour, such as maps.
