TIM
- TIM
- 1. Thermal Interface Material. A material used to bond two surfaces to
allow efficient transfer of heat between them. A thermal interface material
is used as to displace air that might otherwise be between the surfaces as
air is a poor conductor of heat.
In a typical PC a thermal interface material is used between the CPU and its heatsink.
A TIM is typically a paste.
- 2. Timothy. Specifically 1 Timothy or 2 Timothy, which are books (sometimes referred to as letters or epistles) that form part of the New Testament (NT).
