URN

URN

Uniform Resource Name. A URN provides a standard way to name a resource.

URNs are expressed as a text string of the form:

    urn://nid/nss

Where nid indicates the namespace and nss the namespace specific string.

For example: urn://isbn/0674362500 refers to a book (on Greek)
